Mu’azzam ya rage murya kamar mai rarrashi ya ce,

“Gwaggo ita haihuwa ta Allah ce. Idan Allah ya nufa zan haihu sai ki ga a cikinsu wata ta haihu. Bana son kina tayar da hankalinki don Allah.”

Ya ƙarashe cikin nuna damuwarsa a fili. Gwaggo dai shiru ta yi bata ce komai ba, har ya gaji da shirun ya miƙe dan ya samu ya sakarwa kansa ruwa.

Husna tana banɗakinsa tana wankewa, bayan ta kammala gyaran ɗakin. Shi kuma bai san tana ciki ba, don haka yana shigowa ya dubi ɗakin cike da annashuwa. Rabon da yaga muhalli mai tsafta, tun Bilki tana amarya. Sai da ya shaƙi ƙamshin ya lumshe ido, daga bisani ya fara cire kayansa a natse. Har ya rage daga shi sai gajeren wando. Babban burinsa ya isa banɗakin ya sakarwa kansa ruwa, dan ya gaji matuƙa.

Daidai Husna ta ɗago suka yi arba. Tunda yake da yarinyar bai taɓa ganinta babu hijabi ba. Ko a ɗaki take zaka sameta da hijabinta. Ko ɗazu da ake yi mata tsifa hijabin ne a jikinta ta sauke shi ƙasa.

Ƙirjinta ya kaiwa duba da suke cike da dukiyan fulani. Mamaki ya ƙara kama shi na yadda yarinya ƙarama take ɗauke da dukiyoyin fulani. Yadda ta rintse idanunta yasa shi dawowa hayyacinsa. Alamu sun gama nunawa tana son yin ihu, hakan yasa ya taka har gabanta, a lokacin da numfashi yake neman ɗaukewa daga jikinta, yasa tafin hannunsa ya rufe mata baki, bayan ya haɗeta da jikinsa.

Tunda Husna take bata taɓa sanin akwai irin wannan rayuwar ba, bata taɓa tsintar kanta a yanayin da ta tsinci kanta a yanzu ba. Wata duniya ta faɗa mai wahalar fita. A lokaci guda komai ya dinga sauyawa daga wurin zamansa. Idan akwai ranar da ba zata taɓa mance ta ba a rayuwarta ba zata wuce wannan rana mai matuƙar girma a zuciyarta ba.

Shi kansa yadda yake jin ƙirjinsa yana bugawa da sauri da sauri yasa ya fahimci abubuwan da Husna ta liƙa masa. A hankali ya nemo natsuwarsa sannan ya rabata da jikinsa yana dubanta,

“Ke wacce irin ‘yar ƙauye ce? Da ganin mutum sai ki ruɗe?”

Husna dai jikinta yana kyarma ta fice tana jin har abada ta gama shiga sashen nan. Da Salma suka ci karo a hanya, hakan yasa ta sake takurewa jikinta yana kyarma. Salma ta kalleta kallo na wulakanci sannan ta ce,

“Menene haka? Ina M.Y ɗin?”

Bata ba ta amsa ba, da hannu ta nuna mata hanyar ɗakinsa ta wuce da ɗan gudunta. Kai tsaye bayan wani rumbu ta nufa ta zauna tana dafe da ƙirji. Duk da garin ya fara yin duhu, hakan bai hana Salma hango Husna ba, don haka ta ƙaraso da sauri tana dubanta duba na mamaki.

“Ke kuma ina Hijabin yau? Me ya firgitaki haka?”

Husna ta ɗago idanunta cike da hawaye, ta rungume Salma tana magana cikin sarƙewar murya. Sai da Salma ta gama saurarenta tsaf! Sannan ta yi dariya sosai. Hakan yasa ta saki baki ta ɗago tana duban Salma.

“Ke dai ‘yar ƙauye ce Wallahi. Haba me zai dameki akan hakan? Shi ne duk kika rikice? Dama ace nice muka yi arangama da shi fa? Zauna sosai ingaya maki wani abu da ke cikin zuciyata.”

Salma ta ce da ita, tana ƙara gyara zamanta sosai. Sai dai kiran da Gwaggo ta ƙwalawa Husna yasa duk suka dubi ta inda kiran ki fita. Babu shiri Salma ta miƙe tana cewa,

“Tashi ki je Gwaggo tana kiranki, nima aikana ta yi gidan Baba Mari.”

Husna tana kallon Salma ta wuce abinta cike da farin ciki a ranta. Ta yi ajiyar zuciya, ta kasa gayawa Salma gaskiyar abinda ya faru, ta kasa gaya mata cewa ta sami makwanci a lafiyayyan ƙirjin Mu’azzam ba tare da saninta ba.

Kiran da aka sake yi mata ne yasa ta dawo daga duniyar tunanin da ta faɗa, ta ɗan gyara muryarta sannan ta wuce amsa kiran Gwaggo.

Hijabinta ta fara sanyawa, sannan ta dubi Gwaggo da ke zaune kusa da kwanon sha, ta ce,

“Kinga Gwaggo na manta ban wanke mana kayan makaranta ba, ni da Yaya Salma. Bari inje inwanke yanzu.”

Gwaggon ta katseta da,

“A’a kafin nan maza ki ɗauki kwanon shan nan, ki kaiwa Babban mutum. Kada ki sake ki ba wata matarsa ta bashi bare su barbaɗa wani abu. Wuce ki kai masa da sauri yunwa yake ji.”

Husna ta dubeta kamar za ta yi kuka ta ce,

“Gwaggo ni ya zanyi inshiga wurinsa kai tsaye?”

“Wannan kuma ruwanki. Ɗakin yayanki ne kina da ikon shiga kanki tsaye. Bana son musu ko gardama ɗauki ki kai masa.”

Jikinta babu ƙwari ta ɗauki kwanon sha, tana tafiya cikin sanyin jiki.

Cikin ikon Allah a falo ta same shi yana zaune cikin ƙananun kaya, kamar saurayi. Matansa dukka ukun suna falo, Salima ke zaune kusa da shi tana chatting ɗinta a natse.

Abin mamaki yadda suka yi kaca-kaca da falon kamar ƙananun yara. Har ta ƙaraso gabansa ta ajiye kwanon shan, bai ɗago ya dubeta ba, hankalinsa yana kan jaridar da yake dubawa.

“Husna kawo min kofi ki zuba min.”

A karo na farko da ta ji sunanta a bakinsa. Idan zai sanyata aiki ya fi kiranta da ke! Babu musu ta je ta ɗauko kofin ta ajiye a gabansa ta yi saurin barin ɗakin.

Mu’azzam ya kai duba ga matansa yana nazarin maganar da zai faɗa masu wacce sanin kansa ne ba zata yi masu daɗi ba.

“Bilki ina son ku barwa Salima kwanakin da zan yi a garin nan.”

Salima ta yi fari da idanunta ta ce,

“Haba ai za a shiga hakki kuma. Anti Bilki tunda ke ce babbanmu ke ya kamata ki karɓa na kwana biyu, sai nima inkarɓa kafin aba amarya rangida.”

Ya ɗan saci kallonsu, dukkansu auren soyayya suka yi, babu wacce ya aureta bisa dole. Amma yafi son ta biyun fiye da dukkansu. A ganinsa duk ta fi su hankali da sanin ciwon kanta. Haka a wurin shimfiɗa ta siye shi da magungunan mata. Bata ƙyashin ko nawa ne ta cire ta siya magunguna.

Mu’azzam ya miƙe tsaye yana dubansu,

“Ni na gama magana, zan je masallaci idan na dawo zan wuce ɗakin Gwaggo kafin inshigo.”

Baƙin ciki yasa duk sauran matan suka kasa yin magana. Amina ta miƙe ta shige ciki, kasancewarta mabuƙaciya ta fasa kuka da iya ƙarfinta, tana jin ta yaya zata iya danne sha’awarta har na tsawon satittika? Me ya sa ko da take amarya baya ɗokinta kamar yadda yake ɗokin Salima? Wannan amsa ta jima tana nemansa sai dai babu mai iya bata.

  Husna tana zaune Salma tana kitse mata kai, suka ji sallamarsa. Cikinta ya kaɗa tuni ta sunkuyar da kanta.

A kusa da Gwaggo ya zauna suna ɗan taɓa hira,

“Babban mutum na kasa mance masu garkuwa da mutane, na kasa mance illarsu. Ga shi kullum abun sai ƙara girma yake yi. Kullum idan na kai goshina ƙasa, ina yi masu muguwar addu’a. Waɗannan mutane iyayensu sun yi asarar haihuwa.

Mu’azzam ya kafe Gwaggo da idanunsa yana jin haka kawai gabansa yana faɗiwa. A cikin ɗan mintuna ya kauda tunanin da kuma maganar da Gwaggon take so su tattauna akan masu garkuwa da mutane ya ce,

“Gwaggo garin Gombe kullum sai sake haɓaka yake yi. Idan nazo garin ina yawan tunawa da mutane da yawa, daga ciki har da Nura.”

Gwaggo ta kama girgiza kai,

“Sun kashe mana Nura, ba zamu taɓa yafe masu ba. Allah ka tsinewa waɗannan mutan…”

Mu’azzam ya tari numfashinta,

“A’a addu’a ya kamace su ba tsinuwa ba. Ya karatun Salma ta kammala kuwa?”

Ya yi tambayar yana duban inda su Husna suke.

“Basu kammala ba. Salma saura mata shekara ɗaya, Husna kuma saura shekaru biyu. “

Ya ɗan gyaɗa kai yana sake dubansu,

“Gwaggo kin ƙi amincewa yaran nan su zo su ga gidana.”

Gwaggo ta zaro idanu,

“Ni Hafsatu! Rufa min asiri. Marasa mutuncin nan suna hanya zan bar marayun Allah su bi titi? Idan suka sace su fa?”

Mu’azzam bai ce komai ba, sai da ya kai hannunsa bisa ƙafafunta yana danna mata alamun tausa, sannan ya ce,

“Babu abin da zai faru Gwaggo.”

Daga nan suka nausa hira har Husna ta fara hamma alamun barci take ji. Ɗaga fararen idanunta da za ta yi suka harɗe cikin na Mu’azzam. Da sauri ta duƙar da kanta tana jin tarin damuwa.
