Part 1 of 1 in the Series Mollusca Man by Abubakar Abubakar

Mollusca Man

A snail on track

Slow and steady wins you race..
Some of us don’t win it..
Slow-steady keeps us safe..

I’m the Mollusc snail..
I have my shell..
I want this race to get some pace..
Your need for speed..
Against my need for shield..

We start this race..
So while you run through various means and end up queueing up at the doors of the hall of fame..

I’m just sitting in here as a prerequisite for these corrections where I got detained in the hall of sane..

In the game of chance..
Last lap the final tracks..

Turmoils here and there path my ways..
The race life I live part time..
Guess the many tales I had for the aftermaths..

As they keep punching you bag dumbells..
You can argue I hide in my shell..
I don’t remember having any fun time..
But I don’t look as bad as Your face..

Is this brave heart or die hard?..
Even if we try so hard..
It is only gonna end for me and you when we reach grave yard..

I want to make you proud..
Just pull yourself steady we gonna meet after the race in the crowd..

I am the Mollusc man..
In my heart so many scars..
All the way from Budapest..
Now an outcast..

Lady, are you the babushka?..
Your headscarf can tell..
I need some tales..
Let’s play some games..
With no names..

Don’t look away.
I read the page..
Point blank is not our range..
The looks on your face is so strange..

We compete, it’s true..
Don’t mind that race..
You have the face
I go for pace..
I called it Fate..
