Ayatullah was sitting quietly in his room reading some documents, as he has class tomorrow, research day before his lecture become part of him, this is because he doesn’t want his students to asked him question he doesn’t know about.

His phone rang, seeing their last born name on screen made him smiled before answering the phone, “Hello little baby how are you” he asked softly.
She screamed “Im not little baby”
He laughed “Ok old granny How are you”
“When are you coming” back she asked without replying his sentence.

This girl will never grow “good afternoon.” He said ignoring her question.

She tapped her forehead he can even hear the sound of the tapped “Oh my gosh I just forget to great” she said laughing.

“Good Afternoon Yaya” she said sounding like a person regretting a mistake.

“Afternoon dear, how are you?” he asked.

“Well not really fine” she said.

He kept the pen he is holding on table and then concentrated his attention on her “Omo! What happened to my little angel” he said with care.

She laughed, “lol it’s not a big deal, it’s just that am tired of waiting I missed you.”

“Nevermind dear will soon be back, ” he said laughing

“Are you sure?” she shouted happily.

Grinning “Very sure my girl”

Yeyyy, she start shouting and he keep laughing.

Their mum collected the phone from her, ” give me that phone don’t burst his ears.” Mami said before collecting the phone

He greated Mami with respect, “How was work?, I know you must be asleep the time she called you, I didn’t know when she took the phone and call you.” Mami said

He smiled as if they are not on phone “No Mami am not asleep and I always enjoyed talking to Balƙisa.”

“What is that you are doing, or is that you can’t sleep?” Mum asked with care.

He hummy “it’s not like I can’t sleep it’s only 12am here, and am reading some papers” he replied.

“Ok let me leave you alone, make sure you pray before you go to bed” Mami instructed.

“Ok good night and please Mami don’t forget to pray for me, about the girl I told you about. ” Ayatullah pleaded.

“Don’t tell me you do not get over that girl. It always surprised me and I can’t believe that a person can fall for some one he never met.” Mami complained

He smiled “Yes mami I just don’t know how to stop loving her, please pray for me, I love her, I can’t stop thinking about her.”

“I will only pray for you mental health to be stable, you aren’t normal” Mami seems to be angry.
He laughed “Am sorry Mami”

Mtss Mami hissed, “Ayatu you must be out of your mind, how can you fall for a handle on social media, what if the account you said you are in love, is a male impersonating a female name, you better come back to your sense” umma said boisterously

“Mami please be positive” he lamented

“Ok did she replied your message?”

“No mami please just pray as i asked, it’s the only thing I needed right now.”

Mami snapped “Ok will do so, but you better keep that imaginative love aside and look at the reality wake up.”

He burst in to laughing “imaginative?”

“Yes! imaginative it’s not love as you think, I always wondered if someone can fall in love with a person he never meet, and I could remember you once told me earlier she never post a single picture of her’s, what if she is alot older than you are.?”

He exhaled a heavy air out “Oh God! Mami I said to be positive, anyway age is just a number, what matters is My love for her as far as she love me too, we can be together happily weather she’s grannies age mate or not”

Mami hissed again”So what if she’s married?”

“Mami you just can’t be positive” with that he ended the call.

He keep the phone, and continue reading but he find it not interesting any more. He took his phone and start reading new tweet on Twitter.

He was reading a tweet from unofficial ABU account, which said comment down your department, course and level and find your mates. Reading the comments section becomes part of him, to him a person can’t enjoy Twitter without reading comment section.

As he was reading, he come across her comments as he scrolled down.

She wrote her department, level and course.
“Yes! I find her” he shouted like a little kid

He later call his mum.

She was like “so after ending my call you still have the guts to call me again.”

He smiled, “sorry Mami I do not end the call my self, it’s network problem.”

“Ok what’s the problem?” she said ignoring what he said as she know he is only trying to depend himself.

“Mami do you want me back to Nigeria.?”

“That’s my long wish” Mami said eagerly.

He swallowed a dry saliva “So do me this favour then I will come back, ask Daddy to get me admitted into Architecture department at Abu Zaria.”

“What! Admission, after all you are a masters holder, they can still employed you as a lecturer.”

I will only be back when my wishes are granted, it either you tell Dad to get me admittion, or I will never be able to come back” he said that and ended the call.
