My Motherland

Oh Nigeria, my motherland,

A jewel cradled in nature’s hand,

From Lagos’ shores to Sokoto’s sands,

A tapestry of beauty, vast and grand.

Your rivers flow with stories untold,

Of ancient kingdoms, brave and bold,

The Benin Empire, Nok’s art of old,

A heritage of wisdom, pure as gold.
