A Cry For Justice

I do not cry because I am weak,

I cry because silence has become a curse.

I do not kneel to beg for mercy,

I rise to demand what we all deserve first.

Justice, where have you gone?

Once blind, now bought,

Once fair, now flawed.

Your scales are tilted by bloodstained hands,

Your sword dull in the face of corrupt commands.
