They chained our fathers with iron and whip,
And dragged them across oceans in sorrow’s ship.
Backs bent under sun, hearts bleeding in night,
They stole their strength, and robbed them of light.
They came with muskets, missions, and law,
And called us “savage” while breaking every jaw.
They took our gold, our soul, our land,
And dared to say it was God's command.
