A Nation’s Cry

Oh Nigeria, land of promise bright,

Where golden sunsets kiss the night.

Yet shadows loom, deep and wide,

Where bribery and corruption hide.

In halls of power, where trust should reign,

Greed whispers softly, spreading its stain.

Politicians trade the people’s voice,

For silver coins, and hollow choice.
