Chapter 11: A Sweet Distraction
From the parlor, she went directly to her room, where she wore her long golden-colored hijab. She thought if she had to take a shower, she would end up wasting more time. Wearing the hijab, she sprayed a little perfume and checked her face in the mirror before going back to the main parlor where she had left her brother.
"Don't tell me you are ready?" He said, his eyes on the computer he was pressing.
She giggled. "Yes, Yaya. I just can't wait to see the place we are going," she. . .
