Chapter 8: A Missing Friend

Aroush looked at the phone after ending the call with Jad. She smiled, then plugged it in and went out of the room. It was after she left that she remembered she might need the phone to call Chika if she found anything important about Kal, and Chika might want to call her, too. So she strolled back to the room, switched off the power source after removing the phone from the charging point, and went out after closing the room. She moved directly to A'ish's room; that was Kal's best friend. . .
