Fatahurrahman wasn't in the office when they went to the office to help Ayatullah apologize,  it seems that Fatahurrahman went to the mosque for zuhr prayer. 

They saw him from afar walking majestically as if he didn't want to step on soil. They greeted him after he came closer to them " hope you are not waiting for me?" he said smiling, Khadija smiled back and say "we are."

He raised his eyebrows and thought for seconds "Ok then come in" he showed them the entrance to the office after he opened the door.
