Chapter Four: The Origin
Alhaji Muhd was the father, or rather, the Root (Tushe), of this entire family line. He was originally from Gulu village in Kano. He came to the city to pursue the traditional Qur'anic education, known as karatun zaure. When he reached a significant milestone and completed his studies (sauka), he ventured into business. His efforts quickly blossomed, eventually extending his trading beyond Kano.
It was during his travels that he met Bilkisu in Katsina. Their relationship progressed, leading to marriage. He brought his wife, whom everyone called Indo, back to Kano, settling in the Sabuwar. . .
